Postal return procedure
1. Contact us
To make a return by mail, simply contact Chasse et Pêche Chicoutimi by phone at: (418) 690-3006 to obtain a Return Authorization Number. You will need to provide us with your order number, the reason for the return, the items to be returned and the reason for returning the merchandise.
Order error or defect
Your merchandise has been carefully checked and packaged before leaving our warehouse. However, if you received your order in poor condition or if we made a mistake when preparing it, contact us by phone and a Customer Service clerk will take care of your situation.
If you are not satisfied with the color, size, or if the product simply does not suit you, note that the return shipping costs are entirely your responsibility.
2. Repack the products
You only have to use the packaging in which you received your order. Be sure to seal everything well before dropping it off in the mail.
3. Go to a Canada Post counter to pay the shipping costs and drop off your packages
Drop off your package at a Canada Post branch. Affix the delivery label duly to the box. Note that the Return Authorization Number must be written legibly on the box.

Procedure for free return in store
You can make a return directly to our store. All you have to do is present yourself on site to customer service (at the checkouts) with your products to be returned and your order number. This can be found in your confirmation email.
For an error on our part when processing your order or an item damaged during transport, you have 7 days from receipt of the package to contact us and obtain your return number.
For a simple refund, you have 15 days from receipt of the package to ship the item(s) to us.
The item must be in new condition, i.e. undamaged, clean, odorless, free of animal hair, and with the original tags and packaging.
Additional return costs may apply if the returned item is no longer in new condition. If an item is non-refundable or unfit for resale, especially when used or washed, we reserve the right to refuse your return. The item will then be sent back to you and we will charge you $25 for shipping.
Returns, no exchanges
In order to facilitate the management of merchandise returns, we do not make exchanges, only returns. If you want to exchange the items received, you just have to make a return for then place a new order afterwards. You will be refunded for your return after your items have been received in store.
Normally, the processing of the refund is done within 72 working hours of receipt of the package in our warehouses, and then appears on your account within 7 working days. Please note that due to the pandemic situation, a longer delay is to be expected between the receipt of your return at the branch and your refund, as the packages are quarantined upon arrival.
It is the customer's responsibility to read the Return Policy, as well as the deadlines prescribed above. The compliant and safe packaging of the item upon return is also the customer's responsibility.

Extended Return Policy for the Holiday Season
You have the option to receive a full refund or exchange for all purchases made through January 23, 2024.
To ensure return eligibility, please note that items must meet the following criteria:
- They must neither have been worn nor washed.
- They must retain their original labels.
- They must be in their original box.
- They must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
To facilitate exchanges, please present the gift receipt during the return procedure. International returns will be subject to exchange only.
Please note that gift cards are non-refundable, and sale items are considered final sales.
